Q. How can I find my local elope sales person?

Q. What if I only need a few items and want to order under the minimum amount?
A. FOR USA Customers: First time orders must meet the $200 minimum.
Reorders are $100. For orders under $100, there is a $15 Under Minimum surcharge.
FOR Customers outside the USA:
First time orders must meet the $300 minimum.
Reorders are $200.

Q. When will I receive my order?
A. elope usually ships an order within 4 days – slower during our peak shipping months of August, September and October.
All orders are shipped from Colorado Springs, CO, USA. You may request to have an order shipped the same day you place the order for a 15% rush fee.
Q. How do I return product?
A. elope will accept your return if we make an error with your order or an item is damaged or defective. If an item is damaged, defective, or shipped in error, please contact your Customer Account Executive (800.553.5673) to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Credit will only be issued on authorized returns. All returned products must be in the original packaging with original labeling and no shop price stickers.
Q. What if there is a problem with my order?
A. Product or shipping issues MUST be reported within 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact your elope Customer Account Executive (800.553.5673). elope only accepts returns for damaged goods or items shipped in error by elope. Contact your Customer Account Executive for a Return Authorization Number (RA#). All returned product must be in a poly bag, have the original hang tag and no price stickers.
Q. Why do you sell glasses in half-dozens of one style, one color? Why not offer an assortment?
A. We strive to offer great selections of our products while keeping our prices competitive. With glasses, we solicited customer feedback after years of testing the market and now offer six per style per color to offer a great selection while remaining low-priced for our customers.
Q. Why are some hats packed in 3?
A. For the blocked or formed hats and headbands, we pack them in 3 to protect the integrity of the shape of the hat or headband. For the plush, soft hats, they are more durable and can be packed in singles.
Q. What do the A, H, K, L, S, and U stand for in the style numbers?
A. The initial letter of each style number represents the category of the item.
A = Adult hat, fits 57-61cm heads (23.5 inches)
H = Headband
K = Kid hat, fits 55-56 cm heads (21.75 inches)
L = Licensed item (LS = licensed sunglass)
S = Sunglass
U = Unisize hat, fits 57-58 cm (22.5 inches), fits children and most adults
Most of our Adult, Kid, and Unisize hats have a size adjuster which allows you to adjust the hat to fit the wearer!
Q. What specials do you offer with purchase of a display rack?
A. We offer product to offset the cost of your display rack. For example, when you purchase the elope hat rack (EHHR) for $150.00, you can purchase 21 hats to fill the rack and then choose $75.00 in product for free.

Q. I’m a consumer (end customer). How can I order just one or a few items from elope?

Q. How much is shipping for my order?
A. To maintain our high quality of customer service, elope charges for the true cost to ship your order, not an estimated shipping charge which could cost you more. We will know the cost to ship your order once we pack, weigh and process your order for shipping.
Q. What shipping options do you offer for international orders?
A. For our international customers, we ship via UPS World Wide Expedited which is 5-7 days. Customers can also arrange freight themselves or provide a collect account number for another carrier. elope does not currently ship international orders via USPS.
Q. Does elope automatically ship backorders when the product becomes available?
A. elope will ship back orders for domestic customers when product is available unless the customer requests elope to contact before shipping. For international orders, elope will obtain prior approval before shipping back orders.
Q. When is out of stock product coming in?
A. We receive regular shipments of product based on demand of each style. Time may vary with each style due to demand and manufacturing time. Please contact your elope Customer Account Executive to learn when a specific item could be available.
Q. When will I receive my back order?
A. When you receive your back order varies with each product. Each product’s availability depends on the demand and manufacturing time. elope understands that some product is timely in retail. You may contact your Customer Account Executive to determine if your back order will arrive in time for a specific event or holiday.
Q. Why are items discontinued?
A. elope remains on the cutting edge of innovation and design without sacrificing quality and service in whimsical hats, glasses and accessories. We continually evaluate our product lines to insure our designs keep you laughing and wanting more. At times, we discontinue a design that isn’t making you laugh as much as the next one, making room for even more innovating styles.
Q. What are the prices? I don’t see them on your website.
A. elope is a business to business (B2B) website. If you have a legitmate business operation (Tax ID) and are interested in purchasing our products, please apply to become an elope retail customer by filling out our
customer application
. Once you are set up as an elope customer, pricing will be provided by logging in to our wholesale section of the elope website. If you do not own a business, you can use our store locator to find a shop or on-line retailer.

Q. Can the Dr. Peepers™ be used for prescription glasses?
A. Many opticians carry some Dr. Peepers™ styles for prescription glasses. The plastic-framed glasses work best.
Q. I do not have a tax or re-sellers ID number. Why can’t I order directly from you?
